When you've got a dad...

  1. Who wakes you up at 11 a.m (on a public holiday!!) to ask if you'd want to go down to K.L to get new shoes for futsal knowing that the current shoe you're using is torn.

  2. Who keeps nagging and tells you to hurry up because by sharp 11.45 a.m. he's gonna leave the house.

  3. Who know's the exact bus to take, where to wait, and when to change bus to reach K.L faster.

  4. Who can't stop criticizing and commenting on people in the bus, "look, that lady is gonna fall if she don't hold on to the bar properly, stupid lady, carrying so many things at one time" (true enough it happened, she fell), "look at that old man sleeping", "stupid RapidKL driver, not efficient".

  5. Who keeps talking about people not having common sense and just can't stop talking throughout the whole journey on the bus. (Konon lar, he got a lot of common sense, which he has but am just too egoistic to admit).

  6. Who says that we're gonna reach K.L sharp at 1 p.m. (yes, we reached K.L at 1.02 p.m. according to my Swatch watch. Lol)

  7. Who suggested that we walk to Pertama Complex, 20 minutes walk to be precise.

  8. Who walks faster than me, zig-zagging through everyone faster than me (for an old man, damn, he's fucking good, I just couldn't keep up with his pace).

  9. Who slips and fall, and laughed it off (stupid slippery floor)

  10. Who tells me the same history of the Coliseum Theatre and Cafe over and over again, EVERYTIME we passed that place.

  11. Who takes time to go shop by shop to survey and ask for the best price, make a bargain, even RM2 discount matters to him A LOT.

  12. Who waited patiently for the stupid sales-assistant to get the size wanted but eventually coming back saying that they're out of size 9.5 and 10.

  13. Who tries to brainwash his son to use Nike instead of Adidas. (sorry but I just cannot use Nike for futsal/football, its rubbish)

  14. Who tells his son that he's still got time to check around, even when he's suppose to be at work in 15 minutes, reporting in at 3 p.m.

  15. Who walks with his son to another bus stop just so his son could hop on to a bus to Bukit Bintang to meet up with his friends (time was 2.48 p.m.)

  16. Who rushes off like a mad person, walking really fast back to work.

  17. Who calls his son at 7 p.m., asking his son to go to any sports shop to try on the shoe wanted, get the correct size and report back to him so that when there is size in Pertama Complex, he'll buy it right away so his son wouldn't have to go down to K.L again (common sense dowhh).

  18. Who goes to Mid Valley at 9 p.m. (during his break) to check whether they have the said shoe and size, and whether its cheaper compared to Pertama Complex.

  19. Who calls the shop in Pertama Complex the following day to check whether the size has arrived, called twice that is, only to find out that the wanted size will be arriving either Thursday or Friday.

  20. Who without any complain, says nothing but just to make sure his son gets his pair of Adidas futsal shoes.
Tell me which dad actually takes the trouble to go all out just because of the wants of his children. He even buys sanitary pads for my sister, for Yankee Doodle's sake. Cut it short, my dad beats all other dads in this world, sorry to say that. Check that old man out.

*supposed to post this entry on the 9th of March, but got too lazy to blog that day*

I Miss You

Dear Grandma,

In the next 17 days will be the exact date that you left all of us a year ago. Till now we still miss you a lot but me in particular, I miss you too much.

So far away from where you are
These miles have torn us worlds apart
And I miss you
Yeah, I miss you
So far away from where you are
Standing underneath the stars
And I wish you were here

I miss the years that were erased
I miss the way the sunshine would light up your face
I miss all the little things I never thought that they’d mean everything to me
Yeah, I miss you
And I wish you were here

I feel the beating of your heart
I see the shadows of your face
Just know that wherever you are
Yeah, I miss you
And I wish you were here

I miss the years that were erased
I miss the way the sunshine would light up your face
I miss all the little things
I never thought that they’d mean everything to me
Yeah, I miss you
And I wish you were here

So far away from where you are
These miles have torn us worlds apart
And I miss you
Yeah, I miss you
And I wish you were here

I know this song is dedicated to all teenagers that has lost their lives in road accidents but somehow to me, it's not only applicable to them right? The part which goes "I miss you" can be applicable to everyone that we all miss badly and I miss my Grandma badly. I wasn't suppose to post anything about Grandma until the next 17 days but tak tahan. I miss you and sayang you a lot Grandma Rose. Her name is ever beautiful as she is.

Storm

Storm, Lifehouse

How long have I been in this storm?
So overwhelmed by the ocean's shapeless form
Water's getting harder to tread
With these waves crashing over my head

If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If I'd see you
This darkness would turn to light

And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be alright
I know everything is alright

I know you didn't bring me out here to drown
So why am I ten feet under and upside down
Barely surviving has become my purpose
Because I'm so used to living underneath the surface

If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If i'd see you
This darkness would turn to light

And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I know everything will be alright
I know everything will be alright

Truth to be told, I don't think I'll be alright or everything will be alright, not for now at least, and thats because I still miss you, terribly. I'm just waiting for a sign.

Influential, just because...

I just don't quite get how people could be so easily influenced by rumours, or in this sense probably being brainwashed just because the other party has bad-mouthed the innocent victim. Why be so judgmental and a sudden change of perception thus the avoidance just because the other party has a problem with the said victim? Where exactly is everyone's stand or belief.

I guess sometimes individuals are dumb enough to be gullible ain't it. And seriously, this is not directing to anyone, I'm just making a general statement.

Pfffttt! Why care and bother right? People come, people go, only the loyal ones stays.

*heh...are you loyal enough?*

Till then, goodnight.

*I still miss you, a lot*

Marley & Me, Someone & Me

Perrghhh! And I thought it was a chick-flick movie. I bet you thought it was too right (judging from the picture)? I seriously didn't think that this movie could be so damn sad towards the end. It was quite annoying at the beginning of the movie, devil-ish dog, so evil that you wish it was dead. Anyway, let's keep things that way and you go watch it yourself aight? Won't ruin all the fun telling you what this movie is all about.

Yea, they say that dogs are men's best friend. I don't get one thing though. We all know that they don't give response to us as what we expect but yet we still talk to them like as though they know and understand what we're talking about. But somehow, it just feels really good to know that they're there for you from the start/beginning right to the end. Even humans can't do that shit. For fucks sake, humans can't even decide on whether to be with you right to the end or not.

Sometimes I wonder that if human could be decisive, then there's all the difference being made.

*Thanks for the invitation, and I still miss you*

Ke-Stupid-an Sejati

So yesterday, the funniest thing happened in Contemporary Business Management class (yes, I purposely stated that just so everyone would know that we're taking a professional subject which sounds professional too *wink*). Ketua Darjah (adik) kena tegur!! Hahaha!! It was hilarious I tell you. Somehow, you're not that loveable amongst lecturer aren't you. Could you somehow stop creating such rapport already? See, she was apparently laughing at my name just because it was printed differently on that piece of paper (no it wasn't on purpose, that's just how the British system works). Here let me show you the paper.

*Bodoh, it's Oliver KAU Mun Seng la*

She was laughing so hard at it so much so the lecturer got annoyed and said this, "HANI STOP THAT, IT'S VERY ANNOYING". So which is funnier now, my name being printed that way or being tegur? Ohh yea, I bet you hate her now don't you, don't you?. I've been trying to brainwash you to hate her from the start but you just couldn't find any reason. Anyway the part that really cracked me up was the part you said "make sure your name is not printed this way on your Degree Cert". Damn you adik, you better not jinx it.

And if you're wondering who is this adik of mine, she's this annoying cicak-kobeng looking girl, annoying, very funny, full of sarcasm, grumpy, fussy and stupid at times, but very very very kelakar! Here's the picture of her.

*thanks for helping me in finding my slippers that night..Hahahaha!!*

Yea, that's her. As much as I hate to say this, I sayang that dumb dumb, stupid adik. Kamu bodoh lar, the more you laugh at me, the more it's gonna come back to you.

Sigh. Friends whom I'd truly cherish forever. They never fail to put a smile on that face. Now, you don't need a Joker to do that, just friends.

*saya MASIH rindu kamu S.N..heee*

Goodnight, till then.

Everybody has Somebody, Happy :)

Dear Blog-gy, Ku mahu kau tau,

No I didn't forget about you nor abandoned you, it was just that I was too occupied in the past few days to write. I wanted to write on Friday, but the electric got cut off, no dad has already paid the bill you silly. Blame it on TNB. I thought of being online again after the electric cut but I got too sleepy and doze off instead after a tiring day, whole day in college and barbeque after that. It was ok, but I just didn't like the sticky feeling and the part where my Tshirt smelled of smoke. Tak suka!

On Saturday, I was too lazy to come online in the afternoon and later in the evening onwards I was off to futsal, got back around 1 a.m. and I felt that I've been missing out on Friends for a very long time and decided to watch it instead of going online.

But here I am on a Sunday evening-night to write on. Did I tell you that everything is back to normal now? I've received a text on an early Friday morning which made me smile and from then on, I was the happiest person on earth. I couldn't afford to be upset anymore even if someone takes all the effort to upset me. Saya happy!

Somehow persistent and desperation works huh? In the Bible, it says that "ask and you shall receive, knock and the door shall be open".

Anyway, I might be on later to write on again. In the meantime, EVERYBODY HAS SOMEBODY, HAPPY! :)

*and I still miss you*

When you're the victim of it.

Putting the blame onto others, accusing, or even being hostile to another. Isn't that a normal thing to do when it comes to defending your pride, ego or even protecting yourself from the vulnerability. Makes you feel great isn't it? Superior. I do that too, all the time, especially when it comes to protecting my pride from being trampled on and losing out. But I do hate it especially when I'm the victim of it. These "events" just makes you shut the hell up and never want to say a word or comment anymore.

1. Failure of coming to terms with ideas or suggestions. Heated argument especially with someone you're so damn close with. Feels like crap.

2. Being accused of ruining the computer when the younger dumb fuck sibling is too retarded-ly stupid to know how to fix the problem of the computer.

I've figured that sometimes the less you say something, could probably put you in a higher chance of "winning the case". But that's just not me, I don't back down even if it means losing out. See you at the end.

Remedy to problems like this - a glass of tropical fruit drink out of a can, a guitar to strum to the tune of Yellow by Coldplay.

Hope that good soul brings back that wallet of yours buddy. And to you, am up and running but I still miss you.

Restart

So here's the thing. I started a blog before, but somehow abandoned it after posting just one post. Then it somehow came into my realization again that I need to take down the minutes of my life. No other purpose or reason, its more to me looking back one day and telling myself "oh yea, this happened on this date". Memory more like it.

But somehow, sometimes things are best to be forgotten, no I'm not talking about forgetting the best time I had spending with you, those whacky midnight conversations i.e Fuhrer mommy and such, those little inexpensive outings, definitely not those. I was more to referring about the things you left hanging, a sudden change which I cannot cannot come to terms with. After all, those 3 words did make me melt until I realized you probably didn't mean it. To top it all, I don't think that it's even my fault if honesty had been taken place from the beginning. Worse part is that begging took place instead - like a dog, pleading that another chance is given. Face was thicker than the Great Wall of China or the Berlin Wall, humiliated, dented ego. As cliche as it may sound, this was because saya sayang kamu banyak but I don't think it's making any difference. Forget about it, move on yea? Better idea.

To grow up according to age. I don't think that's me. I am who I am and you (in general) wouldn't like it if changes has taken place because I'm not me. Period.

So let's hope that I'll constantly update this blog instead of abandoning it for the second time. Restart has taken place. Let's see the outcome. Till then.

*I still miss you*

*It's not intended for you to read it and I'm not seeking for attention, get that straight*
