Earth Hour

Because I Love and Sayang my environment therefore I'm in full support of this event. You should too.

You might not want to be in support of this event mainly because :-

  1. You think that the "one hour" does not make any difference at all; or
  2. Why is everybody being such a hypocrit, to turn everything off ONLY for today, what about other days as well; or
  3. You think that crime rates such as robbery might increase during this hour (silly Mommy for thinking that way, what an excuse!); and
  4. I'm paying for my electricity, so don't stop me from using it!

Pfft! Please lar, don't be so mengada ok! It's only for an hour and besides, it shows that we actually give a damn about the environment. Lets make a difference. Heal the world, make it a better place ;)

I'm in for this, are you?

Cookies, Fortunate?

Blame it on the grumpy and grumbling tummy, I went on to search for those Ikea cookies (yea at this hour) which Mommy had hid. You might be wondering why she hid those cookies. It's because this younger brother of mine behaves like a scavenger, apa yang sedap makan saje, tak ingat dunia. So did I find those cookies? MISI GAGAL! I can't find it! Where the hell did she place those cookies? Damn she's good at hiding it. I bet if she had organize a treasure hunt, there will be no winners at all.

Desperate to fill the noisy tummy, I resolute to digging into a bag filled with hamper stuff from Chinese New Year. HAH! Cookies I found, FORTUNE COOKIES that is. Whatever goes lar. I ate the whole box (which had only eight, 8!!! pathetic fortune cookies in that lousy box). Definitely not fortunate for me, can't even fill my tummy for Yankee Doodles sake. So anyway here are my fortunes :-
  1. You have an unusual magnetic personality. (Thanks, but I already know that, heh)
  2. For every minute you are angry with someone, you lose 60 seconds of happiness. (Ok boss, I try to control ok?)
  3. Home is the place where you grumble the most but are often treated the best. (Of course, everyone sayang Oliver at home)
  4. Among the lucky, you are the chosen one. (Cheehh wahhh, chosen siot. I think Grandma gave me my chinese name for a reason right?)
  5. Learn from the mistake of others. (Muahaha, it seems I'm the only right one here. I'm so perfect that I have to look at others mistake to learn out from it)
  6. Love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking together in the same direction. (Tak faham lar, membebel tah pape)
  7. You are kind hearted and hospitable, cheerful and well liked. (I think I've got to work on this)
  8. You are kind hearted and hospitable, cheerful and well liked. (Yes, I get it! Already got this one)

Pffft! Do you believe in all this? Well I don't, to me its utter rubbish (but it's nice to read kan?). Unsatisfied - tummy still grumbling and assignment tak siap lagi. Get back to work Oliver Kau, you're in an unfortunate situation now. Goodnight, oh I meant good morning. :B

Expect the Unexpected

It’s funny, how things you expect the most, turns out to be the biggest disappointment ever; or vice-versa. No really, let me give you an example, SPM students expecting straight A’s – 13A1, 10A1, 539A1 which at the end of the day only ends up with only few A’s. Kan dah cakap - Disappointed.

Or what about college students, working their asses off to get into Dean’s List but only to their disappointment at the end of the day. Example je lar kan, generalizing only. Oh no, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing working hard, I’m just saying that the disappointment that comes with it at the end of the day will only make you feel like shit. But good good, keep working harder to achieve what you want.

Ok let’s sideline education, let’s talk about people. People whom you least expect will disappoint you ends up disappointing you the most. Friends whom you are close with before suddenly just change, split personality, ends up bursting your whole great expectations of them. Or the one that you sayangkan the most just ends up giving you unending heartaches because of their mixed signals. Pfft! (No need lar to harapkan anymore, like orang bodoh sahaja).

Oh and check this out, I got this from MSN News. Politicians who people most expect them to behave and have a sense of maturity by speaking with integrity turns out to be the total opposite. Now I wonder where has the respect for politicians went to.

“Mohamad Nazri Abdul Aziz, the minister in charge of legal affairs, tabled the motion against Gobind, saying he had abused parliamentary immunity and his privileges as a lawmaker. "What if I call your mother a prostitute in the name of freedom of expression? I said she is a prostitute and I had her for two nights, is that fair?" Nazri told a press conference.” (Wahhhhhhhh too much right! No manners ar, want to kutuk also don’t lar use mother mother).

Disappointment. I’d rather be like Forrest Gump or Jamal from Slumdog, least expecting things to happen but all ends well at the end of the day. Girl that they wanted most came back to them, happy ending, Happy Tree Friends (hahah, sorry that cartoon just came to my mind all of a sudden) lives happily ever after (fullstop).

Maybe I should start expecting the unexpected. Or not?

New!! :D

Hi Blog-gy!!!
I miss you Blog-gy, how're you doing? Bet you miss me writing on you as well eh? Hehe. So here's all the new stuff that has been happening lately.
  1. Ok, Manchester United lost to Liverpool, to make matters worse, they lost at Old Trafford. But so what right? No biggie deal. Manchester United was being "a good Samaritan" knowing that Liverpool desperately, let me repeat - DESPERATELY needed a win thus handing them those 3 (invaluable, lousy) points. Besides there's nothing to lose, looking at they're still being at the top of the league with a game at hand. No big deal. Let's us all not deny that Manchester United did that to help Liverpool. Viva La Man Utd.

  2. I'm hooked to Crack the Shutters by Snow Patrol. Maybe reminds me of things, I don't know.

  3. Adik didn't screw me over for not being able to hand in my assignments on time for compilation but instead told me to take my time, terima kasih adik. And sorry for the misunderstanding the other day. Heh. :). Can I say that I sayang my Adik. Heh.

  4. And finally, (drum roll please)......
*My shoe-ie is finally here, after 5 days of waiting :'(*

And my shoe-ie is to go along with this, here, have a look.

*Heh, I like larrrrr*

Oh Blog-gy, of the football kit, I have my name printed belakang also together with my favourite number.

*A little jakun la, but I like larr, ngeee :D*

Don't blame me for being a jakun larr. Things like that makes me happy and excited. Oh not only that Blog-gy, I've got few new footwears as well, a new flip flop and also a new sneakers. Never thought I'd be wearing a flip flop but entah, this one just seems so nice, and my sneakers - Pure White! :D

Ok so I think that's it. No, I'm not showing off or being that someone who tells you that I'm entering amazing race, or running 5km non-stop, or partehhh-ing all night long - drinking, or being so wanted by colleagues. No, I'm just sharing my joy - my footwears. Heh. Don't lar tak sayangkan me anymore. Sayang me, can? :D
*I miss you :'(*

Bye Blog-gy, till then. Ciao the Meow. Heeee :)
